The Haunting History: Exploring the Poe House in Philadelphia

One of the activities, we have always enjoyed is being a tourist in our area.  In Philadelphia, it is extrememly easy and to be honest, we have yet to get through our list.  One of the first places we found was the Edgar Allan Poe museum in the Spring Garden area of Philadelphia.  This museum is quiet small and we coupled it lunch in Chinatown.  It takes approximnately an hour to go through the museum.

The Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site, also known as the Poe House, is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here is some information about the Poe House:

  1. History: The Poe House is the former residence of renowned American writer Edgar Allan Poe. Poe lived in the house from 1843 to 1844 with his wife, Virginia, and her mother, Maria Clemm.
